Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- As PRO3’s staunch implementation of anti-crime drive continues to intensify over the weekend, 729 individuals were arrested from January 29 to February 4.
PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY, RD, PRO3 said that of the 729 arrested, 165 are with standing warrants of arrest for different crimes while 31 are Most Wanted persons, 165 were apprehended over Illegal Drugs, 382 for illegal gambling and 17 were nabbed for violation of local ordinances and other special laws.
Some 41 assorted firearms were confiscated and turned-in for safekeeping while 364 pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets weighing 132.40 grams with an estimated street value of more than Php 900K, 54 sachets of marijuana weighing 19,678.35 grams with a DDB value of more than Php 2.3M and nearly Php 150K cash bets were also seized.
PBGEN BACCAY assures the public of PRO3’s untiring commitment to curb all forms of criminality in the region. He stressed that Central Luzon cops will remain steadfast in maximizing its potential and efforts to address lawlessness in the four corners of the region.
