Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga- The top cop of Central Luzon PBGEN MATTHEW P BACCAY lauded the successful arrest of one of the country’s National Most Wanted Person during a manhunt operation in Bamban, Tarlac on Friday, February 18, 2022.

Citing the report of PCOL ERWIN SANQUE, Acting PD, Tarlac PPO, joint personnel of Bamban MPS together with personnel from RIU3, PIT-Tarlac, 1st PMFC-TPPO, PIDMU-TPPO, and PIU-TPPO conducted manhunt operation at Brgy. Sto Niño, Bamban, Tarlac which led to the arrest of Val CASTRO y Mallari, listed as National Most Wanted Person, 42 years old, male, resident of Minuyan Proper, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan by virtue of alias warrant for Robbery, under Criminal Case No. 2906, with Php 100,000.00 bail recommended; Violation of RA 6539 (Anti-Carnapping) under Criminal Case No. 2907 with Php30,000.00 bail recommended; Violation of Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition under Criminal Case No 2908 with Php 60,000.00 bail recommended, issued by HON. Alexander S Balut, Presiding Judge of 4th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Aritao Sta Fe, 2nd Judicial Region, Province of Nueva Ecija dated November 05, 2001; and Carnapping with Homicide under Criminal Case No. 684-SD (2003) AF issued by Hon Cholita B. Santos, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 88, Baloc, Sto Domingo, Nueva Ecija with No Bail recommended dated December 02, 2002.

PBGEN BACCAY said that continuous intensification of manhunt operations against wanted persons within the region is being carried out in order to account and arrest them all.
